A modern fireplace completes the social zone, where the inhabitants can enjoy quality relaxation time after having a harmonious family meal. Production was running smoothly with the prospect of completing the kitchen makeover five days earlier until the homeowners decided they wanted to remove the fireplace wall between the kitchen and the family room. The issue was addressed and quickly resolved — the project was completed on time. The kitchen now includes beautiful white cabinetry, marble counters and backsplash, top-of-the-line appliances including dual dishwashers and wall ovens, rich wood flooring, and green accents.
A great idea for a decoration would also be a wreath. This is an item that you can make when you have a bunch of small driftwood pieces but no idea what to do with them. The wreath is really simple to make. You just need to glue together the driftwood pieces to form a circle. Hot glue is preferable in this case. The wreath would make a nice decoration for the entrance door or for the wall.
Driftwood is a form of marine debris and it usually becomes a form of shelter and food for birds, fish and other aquatic species. However, it can also be used as part of decorative furniture and other art forms. It’s a popular element in fish tanks and it can also be used to create other types of decorations for the home and even some practical items. We have selected 10 examples to illustrate this idea.
A beautiful piece of driftwood can also be sued to make a peg or stand. Simply attach it to the wall using hooks or nails and leave it as such or add some rope like in this case. You’ll be able to make a beautiful and ingenious decoration for any room of the house, including the bathroom. The rope will serve as a support system for shelves or, in this case, decorative panels with all sorts of messages written on them.
In today’s post we would like to share one of the company’s latest work, especially developed for a residential project in Woolacombe, North Devon. The Outlook Curved Bespoke Kitchen features an elegant dining table with unconventional seating units integrated in an oval kitchen island. There is plenty of storage space available in the cupboards (including inside the kitchen island/seating combo), most of which is cleverly hidden away from sight. Generously-sized windows allow natural lighting inside, which contributes to an overall warm ambiance. The color palette in white and gray is tastefully disrupted here and there by powerful hues; take the green armchair for example, which adds an interesting traditional vibe, perfectly complemented by the entrance cabinet in matters of style.
When the homeowners began this kitchen remodel process, they were looking to redesign and completely reinvent their “builder grade” kitchen. Nothing was broken necessarily, but they never liked the design and the materials were lackluster. Case Design/Remodeling, Inc. was enlisted to transform the kitchen into the owners’ dream cooking center. The final kitchen features top-of-the-line finishes and appliances including separate refrigerator and freezer units by Sub-Zero, a 48” dual fuel Wolf range with integral grill, a custom stainless/oil-rubbed bronze hood, Bosch dishwasher with custom cabinetry panel, and a Sharp microwave drawer. Additionally, there were a few “his” and “her” requests for the new kitchen. For her, it was important to methodically plan each and every cabinet to include rollout shelving, toekick drawers at the island, and legs that flank the range and include narrow storage, among other items. For him, great appliances were a must-have so he could put his cooking and entertaining skills to use.
Part of the Cooking & Living concept, this lovely white kitchen was designed for a sea lover. Lluis, owner of the property, wanted a place that would transmit the calm and peacefulness of the Mediterranean Sea. A white kitchen seemed to be the perfect approach. And just look at the fantastic result! Everything in this place inspires one to walk bear foot like in the sand and enjoy the feelings of purity and volatility. Even the table seems suspended on two structures that the designers compared with islands in the open sea. Elegant, classy and immaculate-definitely on our list of dream interiors.
What do you think of the idea of Pop-Up Furniture? For some, it may seem a natural step in the direction of minimalist design,backing-up the trend of “less is more”. The reason why we chose to present this cardboard pop-up furniture project envisioned by Liddy Scheffknecht and Armin B. Wagner is strongly connected with practical living in small apartments. Using the technique of Pop-Ups, the design duo created a mobile workstation consisting of a desk, a chair and a laptop appears and disappears. The sculpture can be opened and closed like a book. Have a look at the video below to see just how easy it is to install this pop-up furniture project and then “close” it back!
With varying finishes including Arctic White with Black Glaze maple cabinets with Brown Lapiz counters around the perimeter and stained Espresso maple cabinets with White Macaubas counters along the island, the kitchen also features state-of-the-art technology with an integrated Sonos system for wireless connections, LED recessed lighting, and lighting inside glass-front cabinets. The new kitchen allows the family of four to create and gather for great meals as well as to entertain in style and ease with the latest in kitchen design.
